Tosha Habig MSW, LSW

Hi! I’m Tosha (she/they), a licensed social worker in Ohio. I received my clinical training from NKU, graduating with a Masters in Social Work, with micro-credentials in Trauma-Focused Care. I specialize in working with the queer community, and am very passionate about advocating for queer individuals. I am additionally passionate about working with pre-teens, teens, and young adults, as well as neurodivergent individuals. In my practice, I work with teens and young adults supporting them as they learn to accept, and eventually love, themselves for who they are.

I am passionate about offering mental health support to people who have been led to believe they are wrong for being who they are. If you have experienced doubt, ridicule, or rejection from someone, that leaves a scar on your identity. It is my belief that you are the expert in your body, your mind, and your life; living in denial of that leads to things like depression, anxiety, trauma, relational and trust issues.

Everyone deserves to look inward and believe that they are enough. Working together we will help identify the negative impacts on your life and begin reinforcing the positive messages that support your sense of self. In your trauma, you have been subdued and erased; in your therapy, you will rediscover the power of your own voice. Whether it is childhood trauma, struggles with operating in this world as a neurodivergent person, loss/grief, fears (abandonment, rejection, isolation, etc), or religious trauma, I offer a safe place for you to develop the path to healing you have been searching for. If what I’m saying sounds familiar, then reach out and let’s get started.
