Emiley Morton DSW, LISW-S, LCSW
Hi, I’m Dr. Emiley- a Doctor of Social Work deeply passionate about affirming testing. If you’re here exploring the possibility of a diagnosis as an adult, you are not alone, and you’re not too late. I specialize in adult diagnostic assessments for Autism and ADHD, and this work is one of the most meaningful aspects of my clinical practice. I approach every evaluation with care, precision, and deep respect for the vulnerability and courage this process often requires.
As a high-masking, late-identified neurodivergent person myself, I have experienced the ways in which individuals are overlooked in traditional diagnostic settings. Co-occurring concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and burnout can obscure neurodivergent traits, particularly for those who have spent years adapting to systems that were never designed with them in mind. I am committed to delivering high-quality, comprehensive evaluations that consider the full context of your lived experience—because accuracy matters, and so does being truly seen.
My assessment process is collaborative and affirming. I love to work with individuals who have done their own research, explored self-diagnosis, or found resonance through social media or peer communities. I welcome the insights you bring—whether it's a TikTok that helped something click, a screening tool you completed online, or reflections from your own exploration. This is a joint process, and your voice belongs at the center.
Cultural identity, gender, and sexuality are integral to how we experience and express neurodivergence. I bring an intersectional lens to every evaluation, with specialized experience working with LGBTQ+ clients and individuals from diverse racial, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds. These factors are not peripheral—they are central to an accurate and respectful diagnostic process. You deserve to be assessed in a way that honors your full identity, and I am committed to a humble approach that is dedicated to understanding the ways in which neurodivergent traits may display themselves uniquely within you, regardless of the gaps in the research regarding intersectional identities.
Each evaluation includes multiple sessions including a detailed diagnostic interview, standardized measures, and cognitive testing for in-person clients. When clinically appropriate, input from people who know you well can also be included. Some individuals like to bring notes with them, or a pet for comfort, binders, old report cards, etc. I am open to any and all of these things in the assessment room! My role is to help you explore, clarify, and name your experience—not to assign a label, but to support a deeper understanding of yourself, removing barriers along the way.
The full cost of assessment with me is $1450 if you pay in full at or before the first appointment, or $1600 for a 4 month payment plan. I take this investment seriously, and as someone who has made my own personal investment in testing, I seek to provide exceptional care that honors the financial and emotional labor involved in the testing process. Every element of my process has been carefully designed to be thorough, individualized, and clinically sound. My intention is to offer an experience rooted in both medical credibility and personal respect—one I would trust for myself or my loved ones. If you’re seeking clarity, language, or validation, I would be honored to support you through that journey.
I am licensed in Ohio (I.1800926-SUPV) and Kentucky (260142) for full assessments that can be used for workplace accommodations and medical support. Note: Although I am licensed in Florida, I am not offering comprehensive virtual testing to Florida residents at this time.
