Creative Connections Groups
Groups for ages 5 through adulthood
Join us as we explore the creative side through a structured use of the arts to enhance emotional regulation, coping skills, and cultivate a greater sense of self-awareness, while building community with other individuals.
Creative Connection Groups at Reclaimed are led by Deborah Fisher, registered drama therapist. The arts provide an active and experiential experience. This approach can provide the context for participants to tell their stories, set goals and solve problems, express feelings, or achieve catharsis. The depth and breadth of inner experience can be actively explored, and interpersonal relationship skills can be enhanced. Participants might feel personal growth in their self-awareness, self-confidence and self-esteem. These groups are a space for self-expression and connection. Groups run on a rotating basis, with opportunities for ages 5 and up! Reach out through the contact page to learn more and sign up.
Periodically, we offer a try-it-out day for those who are interested in exploring the use of arts in the therapeutic process before making the 8 week commitment. Reach out to inquire about a preview session!
